New Zealand was my first experience down under. Having managed to stay on the face of the earth, one thing that I did have to get accustomed to was the fact that the sun travels north across the sky. This is obvious if you think about it, if you judge light and future opportunities from your gut feeling you can be in for a bit of a surprise. “Why is there getting less shade, instead of more shade” was a line I had running in my mind quite often. The land, rugged versatile and beautiful was a joy to experience. Kia Ora!
